Following the media reported banning by the London Underground of its New Years Eve 09 poster campaign due to offending artwork Ministry of Sound is now willing to customise selected Jubilee line carriages at their own cost for the night.

The New Year Eve services, taking excited customers to their eagerly anticipated live show at the world famous O2 arena in South East London, will create a fantastic club atmosphere with DJ Decks, colourful neon lights and a glitterball.

New Year Eve is one of the most important nights of the party calendar and the tube designs Ministry of Sound have offered London Underground are based on the now approved New Years Eve poster design. The customisation will involve decorating the carriages in a temporary wrap to maintain the structural safety required to protect passengers.

A Ministry of Sound spokesperson said 'We were disappointed to have to change our posters for New Years Eve, as it has set our marketing back by weeks and cost us over £5000 to change. We hope London Underground will consider our offer to decorate the Tube carriages to make this night a memorable one for our excited customers'

Ministry of Sound Live 09 at The O2 arena, promoted by AEG Live, features a stellar line up and state of the art production. Acts confirmed to appear include Calvin Harris, Justice, Deadmau5, Eric Prydz and Dave Spoon. Tickets are priced at £75, £50 and £35 and available from www.ministryofsound.com/NyeO2/ www.ticketmaster.co.uk / 08444 775 775
