Dodgy and the Bluetones perform at the Scala on Sunday

Crisis today announced that Britpop legends Dodgy and the Bluetones will perform at Scala in Kings Cross, London as part of Crisis Hidden Gigs on Sunday 17th May. There are still a few tickets available for the gig, and Dodgy have confirmed they will be performing exclusive new material, including a song written especially for the homeless charity, Find A Place Where I Can Stop.

The converted cinema in North London, which once hosted an iconic performance by Iggy Pop is the second venue in the series of concerts for the charity. The last-minute venue reveal from Crisis aims to raise awareness of the precarious situation facing hidden homeless people, who may not know where they will end up each night and are often forced to move from place to place. Ticket holders have now been sent a text or email revealing the location.

Dodgy and The Bluetones are old friends and once lived together in Hounslow ' however this is the first time they will share a stage. They will perform crowd pleasing favourites as well as new material, helping to raise money and awareness of hidden homelessness in the UK.1 Gavin and Stacey star Mathew Horne will also be Dj'ing at the event plus there will be performances from critically acclaimed Rachael Mayfield, and Steve McBrayne, formerly homeless people who have been helped by Crisis.

Crisis Hidden Gigs will give music fans the chance to see some of the UK's best acts and raise money to help end homelessness. Forthcoming gigs include Pink Floyd legend Dave Gilmour on Monday 25th May, Starsailor on 2nd June, and Pendulum and Zane Lowe on June 17th. Additional exciting performances are yet to be announced.

Tickets for all gigs are available at www.crisis.org.uk/hidden. All proceeds from the tickets will go to help Crisis.
