Cliff Richard and The Shadows to meet fans at HMV

Fans of British music legends, Cliff Richard and The Shadows, get the chance to meet them, in person, when they make a rare appearance at HMV's flagship Oxford Street store in London's West End on Monday 30th November 2009 to sign copies of their new DVD, 'Cliff Richard & The Shadows The Final Reunion'.

Sir Cliff and the band will be at the store from 12.30 pm, to meet fans and sign copies of the new DVD which was officially released through 2Entertain this month.

Cliff & The Shadows dominated the British popular music scene in the late '50s and early '60s, enjoying record-breaking solo and joint careers, and establishing their undisputed place in pop history. Between them they notched up no less than 19 No 1 hits, including 'Living Doll', 'Travellin' Light', 'Please Don't Tease', 'Bachelor Boy', 'Wonderful Land' and 'Apache', and starred together in the ever-popular films 'Summer Holiday' and 'The Young Ones'. In 2009 Cliff Richard, Hank Marvin, Bruce Welch and Brian Bennett took to the stage in their final tour together. The new DVD 'Cliff Richard & The Shadows The Final Reunion' captures the magic of their concert at London's 02.

Please note due to time constraints access to the queue will be strictly limited. 400 wristbands will be available from the store on the day of the event from 9.00 am. Limited to one per person, on a first-come first-served basis, no reservations.
