Is this the coolest thing ever to happen to anything ever? Yes - yes it is. Blur and David Bowie will officially be lego-ised in the upcoming Lego Rock Band.

The game is due to be released on November 3, and according to Rolling Stone will feature songs from Iggy Pop (who will also be lego-ised), Queen, Bryan Adams, P!nk, KT Tunstall, The Coral, Razorlight and many many more.

This is the latest in a long line of band-themed games, but hopefully this one will be less of a PR disaster than the Kurt Cobain avatar in Guitar Hero 5, which quite frankly was pretty offensive.

The Kooks - 'Naïve'
The Automatic - 'Monster'
KoRn - 'Word Up!'
