Swound! have become the first unsigned band to write and record a track for Nickleodeon’s internationally acclaimed hit kids TV show Yo Gabba Gabba.

Hailing from the Isle of Man, the literal band of brothers, and the antithesis of the Jonas Brothers, join the likes of The Ting Tings, MGMT, The Shins and Ladytron to write an exclusive track for Yo Gabba Gabba. Despite being strictly under wraps until the airing of series three in early 2010, Swound! have announced that their track teaches children about the importance of resting and eating jelly when you’re ill! Yo Gabba Gabba featured in NME’s future 50 list in August this year. The list has become synonymous with predicting the future trends in entertainment.

In the meantime to satiate their fans constant lust for more, Swound! will release their next single ‘Predator 3’, three and a half minutes of fidgety Indie punk, on November 2nd. This follows on from their critically acclaimed debut, mini-album ‘Hello Future, Our Name Is Swound!’ produced by Paul Tipler (Placebo, The 80s Matchbox B-Line Disaster, Cable, ¡Forward Russia!, Idlewild). Plus, their track ‘We Are A Danger’ features on the ‘Kerrang: The Album ’09’ compilation album, which was released via Warners earlier this year.
