the third year running, Ents24 are giving one band the chance to gig at one of the UK’s largest festivals, GuilFest 2009! Offering the winner a 30 minute prime time slot on stage, plus a day in a professional recording studio, this is one prize that every ‘up and coming’ band dreams of and registration starts now!
Held at Stoke Park in Guildford near Surrey on 10th – 12th July 2009, GuilFest attracts capacity crowds of over 45,0000 people over the three days and for the last four years, Ents24 has hosted a huge stage at the event. In the past, the Ents24 stage has been graced by the likes of Bowling For Soup, British Sea Power, Royworld, Newton Faulkner and the guiLLeMoTs and this year, Ents24 are offering one lucky band the chance to join that list with a 30 minute prime time slot of their very own!
Any band that thinks they’ve got what it takes to wow the crowds at GuilFest needs to register now at www.ents24.com/web/gigatguilfest by filling out the form and uploading their best slice of musical genius. Then, it’s up to the fans to vote for their favourites where the top five will face the expert panel.
Voting begins on the 8th June and the top five ‘most voted for’ tracks will go through to the next stage of the competition where they’re just a panel of music boffins’ opinions away from that slot on stage. The winner will be announced on the 3rd July.
The lucky Gig@GuilFest winner, will not only nab themselves a slot worth thousands of pounds, but will also get a fantastic day session in top recording studio, Kore Studio. The winning band will be able to professionally lay down a track to showcase their talent in the best possible way in the same studio that White Lies recently recorded their debut album. As if all that’s not enough, the winners will also receive free backstage passes to the whole three days of GuilFest plus weekend camping AND a week’s promotion through Ents24 website which is read by a million people every month!
