AMY WINEHOUSE is in a row with her record label bosses after she stopped recording her new album to collaborate with Gorillaz.
The singer has reportedly infuriated executives at Universal who paid for her to fly back to St Lucia to begin work on the follow-up to 2006's Back To Black.
But instead of heading into the studio on the Caribbean island, she agreed to work with Damon Albarn's band instead.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror, a source said: "They were not happy to say the least. They want Amy to get cracking on her new album, but the results have so far not been up to scratch.
"Imagine how they felt when they realised she had agreed to work with Gorillaz? They couldn't believe it.
"It's an unnecessary distraction. They think she should invest all her energy in her own music. She should be knuckling down and delivering the goods."
