The Verve have revealed that "Sit And Wonder", "Judas", "Appalachian Springs", "Mona Lisa" and "Rather Be" are amongst the tracks being demoed.
These will apparently will go into the pot for selection on a forthcoming reunion album.
Richard Ashcroft and team announced plans to reform earlier this year and are due to return to the live stage at the start of November.
Bass player Simon Jones has been speaking about the group's progress.
In the online post, Jones discussed the older material being rehearsed by the group and appealed to fans to make suggestions for what they'd like to here on the tour.
Describing the recent sessions as "amazing", he said: "What have we missed that you wanna hear? Is it too early to play new stuff? Do we skip the obvious? Do we do the obscure? Let me know!"
