Simian Mobile Disco to release short film

Simian Mobile Disco have announced they are to launch a short film titled 'A Study After Cruel Intentions'.

The film is a collaboration between Simian Mobile Disco, Wichita Recordings, producer Saam Farahmand and Partizan Productions and is inspired by the bands forthcoming single 'Cruel Intentions'.

'A Study After Cruel Intentions' follows five enchanting women on a disorientating, dark and humorous and shocking journey at the end of a long, lost evening. It stars Sharon Maughan and Lysette Anthony who head up a strong impenetrable cast.

'A Study After Cruel Intentions' will be premiered on Pitchfork.tv for a week. The whole film can be viewed here: http://pitchfork.com/tv/#/episode/2079-study-after-cruel-intentions 'Cruel Intentions' the single featuring Beth Ditto will be released on the 4th January 2010. 'Cruel Intentions' is taken from SMD's latest album 'Temporary Pleasure' which was released to rapturous applause in August 2009, through Wichita Recordings.
