Music fans who attended this year’s amazing Rock Ness music festival get the chance to relive their memories this weekend as the monster bash enjoys its star-studded television debut on Channel 4.

Staged in arguably the most stunning festival site in the world on the shores of iconic Loch Ness, Rock Ness 2008 was the best yet. Over 35,000 fans basked in the weekend’s glorious sunshine while enjoying a stunning line up of many of the globe’s biggest names in electronic, dance and rock. Acts who performed across the two days included Fatboy Slim, Razorlight, The View, Calvin Harris, Underworld, Editors, 2ManyDJs, Roisin Murphy and Mylo to name a very few.

The Channel 4 television debut will be broadcast across the entire UK network in two half-hour slots this weekend and should prove highly entertaining viewing. This year, the third in the event’s history, saw a raft of new on-site entertainment and arenas adding to the eclectic festival fun.

This included the SkinsLive arena which saw talent scouts out in force looking for the stars of the next series, the bonkers Big Love Inflatable Church which hosted the first ever real Rock Ness wedding (plus countless other pseudo declarations of love!), the myspace bus which rocked from dawn ‘til dusk all weekend with special surprise guest DJ appearances, and the SoCo Social and Rizla Invisible Players! arenas which each proved a soaraway success.

Also back in spectacular style was the now legendary Bollywood Cocktail Bar and Rob da Bank’s Sunday Best Arena augmented once again by the mighty Clash Arena and Soulwax Arena, plus of course the Main Stage set against that backdrop!

Rock Ness 2008 will be broadcast on Channel 4 tomorrow night at 00.00 and again on Saturday night at 00.10.
