EMI are to release a Radiohead greatest his album to coincide with their forthcoming world tour, according to reports.

The band's former record label are understood to be planning the compilation having already issued a box set following their departure from the company.

The move is seen as further evidence of bad blood between EMI and the band, after they gave new album "In Rainbows" away for free online in October.

Guitarist Ed O'Brien revealed the news in an interview with Canadian TV. "They're planning to do a greatest hits for April, May to coincide with our tour.

"That's an interesting one. We won't be doing any promotion for that, obviously", he explained.

Drummer Phil Selway said the band understood the move, commenting: "It's well within their rights to do it. So we'll have to see."
