Metallica premiere new video

Metallica will be premiering their Video ' which is more of a short film - for the single 'The Day That Never Comes,' on aol.com for the first time, today, September 3rd 2008.

The song is the first taste from their 10th studio album 'Death Magnetic' (out Friday 12th September 2008 on Vertigo through Universal) which is already available for download on iTunes, www.metallica.com and www.missionmetallica.com

Evolving from a brooding and contemplative ballad, 'The Day That Never Comes' unleashes itself into a relentless wave of crashing riffs and gargantuan beats heralding in the new era of Metallica in epic style.

As the track clocks in at 7 mins 55 secs, the band wanted to step outside the usual every-day video box and into the world of film. Director Thomas Vinterberg took the band out into the desert near Los Angeles with soldiers, tanks and the rest!
