Madonna's daughter to star in her video

MADONNA has asked her daughter to star in her upcoming music video.

Lourdes, 12, will make an appearance in the promo for Celebration due for release at the end of August.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Lourdes, filmed the video in Milan recently and was shot by long-time Madonna collaborator Jonas Akerlund.

Madonna will release a new greatest hits album, also called Celebration, later this year, alongside a DVD featuring her most popular hits.

Lourdes reportedly is "desperate to become an actress" and had joined Manhattan's Professional Children's School to help further her career.
