Dita Von Teese has vowed never to have sex with Russell Brand.
The burlesque beauty has been pursued by the British comic star since they met in Los Angeles earlier this year, but quickly learned to ignore his calls asking her out.
The 35-year-old brunette said: “I will not be having sex with Russell Brand. I was the subject of one of his calls once, but I didn’t answer the phone, thank goodness.
“Just because I gave him my phone number doesn’t mean I’ll be going on a date with him.”
Dita, who has been interviewed by Russell on British radio, also said she was reluctant to answer his calls when he could be on air.
She added: “Once, I just saw Russell Brand’s name come up on the screen and thought, ‘I don’t think I’m going to answer that right now.’ He was on the air and it was just good female intuition not to answer the call.
“I had another conversation with him shortly before he left his radio show and he is a lot of fun – I like him, but I can totally handle guys like that.”
Russell, 33, quit his BBC radio show in October after he and British presenter Jonathan Ross left lewd messages on the answer phone of ‘Fawlty Towers’ legend Andrew Sachs.
Russell has spoken about his desire to romance Dita after meeting her at an Oscars party earlier this year.
He said: “At the risk of looking inconvenient, I walked past her several times to the toilet to get her attention.”
