Chris Squire of Yes fame was a member of Foo Fighters last weekend, for all of two songs.

Squire was in Las Vegas and joined Foo Fighters on stage at their gig at The Joint.

They performed the Fooeys ‘Cold Day In The Sun’ and then Dave Grohl handed his band to Squire for a FF version of the Yes classic ‘Roundabout’.

After the show, Pantera’s Vinnie Paul caught up backstage.

Squire is about to take a version of Yes out on the road for the band’s 40th anniversary.

Jon Anderson, the lead singer of Yes, and Rick Wakeman, the band’s noted keyboard player, will not be part of the tour.

Anderson has made his feelings known about the tour and he is not happy about it. Wakeman has remained tight-lipped, but put his son Oliver up for the role.

The Yes ‘In The Present’ tour will begin in Hamilton, Ontario on November 4.
