Guns 'N Roses frontman Axl Rose has confirmed the band's first album in 15 years is finally finished.

The heavy metal group have been working on new LP Chinese Democracy for several years and it's release had been put back indefinitely until renowned perfectionist Rose finished working on the new material.

But the singer's personal manager Beta Lebeis confirmed to Metal Hammer magazine that the record was "finished before Christmas". Adding that "everybody knows that".

Lebeis also insists that Rose is currently "in negotiations" to arrange the album's on-sale date, with the magazine reporting rumours of a possible late summer release.
