With a career spanning fourteen years, The Bluetones are one of the original bands that ignited the BritPop era.

The band will go back to their roots and play their 1996 number one album, 'Expecting To Fly’ in its entirety including the classics 'Bluetonic’, 'Cut Some Rug’, 'A Parting Gesture’ and the anthemic 'Slight Return’.

Regarded as one of the most important album of the Britpop years, 'Expecting To Fly’ catapulted The Bluetones into the mainstream and the band have perennially gone about their business with the maximum ease and the minimum drama over the years.

Following a short period of solo activity (frontman Mark Morriss as an acoustic troubadour, bassist Scott Morris as a graphic designer, guitarist Adam Devlin as a songwriter and drummer Ed Chesters going back to University to study), the band came back in 2006 with their fifth album, 'The Bluetones’ and have since released 'The Bluetones Collection’ in 2008. Since 'Expecting To Fly’, The Bluetones have outlived many of their peers from the 90’s and are still going strong.

Described by the News Of The World as, 'One of the UK’s most criminally underrated live acts', the boys are back to prove the critics right, performing to their fans across the UK.
